Unfortunately and probably why we British have our famous obsession with the weather, due to living in an island stranded in the North Atlantic, it is not often that we get those perfect summer days that is combined with a perfect 'Golden Hour' when the sun goes down.
Fortunately for Paul and Elaine, we had the most perfect August day that you could desire, with plenty of lovely sunshine and that elusive and magical lighting as the sun set, that we were thankfully able to make the most of due to the full cooperation of the lovely Emma at the Four Seasons, who managed to coordinate the desert course around the perfect lighting that was happening in the grounds!
We made full use of this special light and without doubt, the picture of Paul and Ellie lying in the grass together is one of the most beautiful wedding pictures that I have ever taken.
It makes such a difference when you work with enthusiastic venues and couples, which releases myself to do the best that I can.
Did I succeed?
I will let you be the judge of that, as you take a look at a selection of images that tell the story of Paul and Elaine's very special wedding at the fabulous Four Seasons in Hampshire.
